a continuing journey
Having worked in the music industry for over twenty years and predominantly writing for women and telling their stories, I am now leveraging that experience to continue this journey through visual storytelling, more specifically through fashion and portrait photography.
Photography to me is a powerful medium to communicate such stories and by continuing to focus on the female view point, I have the opportunity to highlight their experiences, perspectives, and strengths.
Using Fashion as the predominant theme , I endeavour to also capture an essence that engages the viewer with feelings and emotions that we all have when we wear certain clothes or choose certain looks..
My images always have the underlying drivers of empowerment, self-expression, identity, relationships, and personal journeys and my aim is to capture the essence of my subject, the thoughts and emotions of a moment, and hopefully convey a meaningful narrative.
